Rapper Tyga and Avril Lavigne have confirmed their relationship with a kiss, during Paris Fashion Show at the Mugler X Hunter Schafer party last week. This kiss left many news outlets salivating over their romance, seeking to know more about their dating life.
Tyga and Avril’s relationship is not a coincidence. They have crossed paths before; so though the couple may look odd, the fact that they are in the same circle and may have known each other for a long time could be the reason that brought them together.
Let’s address the bizarreness of this relationship.
Tyga and Jordan Craig dated. Not only did they date, but they were married. According to a Court document obtained by TMZ, Tyga, whose real name is Michael Ray Stevenson, was married to Jordan on Sept 6, 2010. They got divorced in 2011.
Shortly after, Tyga was dating Blac Chyna from 2011 – to approximately 2014. They have 1 son together, Cairo. Cairo was born in 2012.
In 2015 Tyga broke up with Blac Chyna, also known as Angela White, and started dating Kylie Jenner, sister to Kendall Jenner and (half-sister to Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian). Kylie was underage when she was dating the “Rack City” Rapper. They both broke up in 2017.
While Tyga was dating Kylie, Blac Chyna started dating Rob Kardashian (brother to Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian) as well as half-brother to Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner. They started dating in 2016. Broke up that same year but they share 1 daughter together Dream.
Tristan was dating Jordan Craig back in 2014. They dated until 2016 or so. They have a son together, Prince. Tristan cheated on Jordan Craig With Khloe Kardashian, even though Khloe denies it.
Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson started dating in 2016. They have 2 kids together, baby girl True whom they welcomed in 2018. Though Khloe and Tristan have broken up over cheating allegations involving Jordan Woods (who used to be Kylie’s best friend), they have been on and off and have birthed another child together a son in 2022.
Avril Lavigne on her side was dating Brody Jenner, son of Bruce Jenner (now Caitlin Jenner); Brody is Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s half-brother. Brody and Avril dated from 2010 to 2012.
